Our Solutions

Arefa Isago Group specializes in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) solar services, providing tailored solutions for solar power projects. Our expertise covers meticulous engineering, quality procurement, and efficient construction and installation, ensuring a seamless transition to sustainable solar energy. Committed to quality and reliability, we support solar energy projects from inception to completion.

Grid-Tied Solar PV

  • Solar PV system connected to grid

  • Used to offset (electricity consumption from Eskom/Municipality)

  • Shut down during load shedding (regulations)

  • Only produces power during daylight hours when Eskom is on

  • No battery

Genset Integration PV

  • Integrated with a generator

  • Used to offset overheads (electricity consumption from Eskom/Municipality)

  • Used to decrease diesels costs

  • Continues running during load shedding

  • Only produces power during daylight hours

Hybrid Solar System

  • Solar PV system is connected to an inverter with batteries

  • Decreases overheads and provides power during power outages

  • Does not shut down during load shedding – property powered by batteries

  • There is still some reliance on Eskom/municipal power

Types of Installations

  • Ground Mounts
Arefa Isago Group helps with the complete turnkey execution of on-site ground-mounted installations, from design and installation to operation and maintenance for this type of solar systems. This is how we support you throughout the entire project life cycle.

  • Roof Mounts
Solar panels mounted over a roof are a great way to utilize free roof space and achieve higher returns from solar energy production. Whether it is a Klip-Lok, IBR, tiled or other roof, Arefa Isago Group can design a bespoke solution to suit your requirements.

  • Single Axis Tracker:
Solar tracker allows the movement of the photovoltaic panels in one direction, from east to west, following the sun’s path from sunrise to sunset. This effective function allows a significant increase in the collection of solar energy throughout the day.

  • Carport Mounts:
If your site has its own parking space, a solar parking solution is an efficient way to utilize the space to install solar panels. It is used to provide shade to the vehicles and/or the material underneath while using solar energy.

  • Micro-Grid/Storage Solutions
These solutions are designed to work seamlessly with different energy generation sources such as solar, battery/storage, grid & diesel generator. This allows them to deliver cheaper energy, save on diesel costs and provide emergency power in the event of a grid failure/blackout.

  • Greenfield Solar Project Development
Open access solar systems developed from the ground up are an excellent option for industries to purchase electricity at a lower rate than their existing utility rate. The Arefa Isago Group uses the private energy market to develop and build solar energy projects and distribute them to commercial and industrial customers via the existing network.

Finance Options

Outright Purchase

The client pays for the energy system and buys it outright from the onset. The cost and ownership of the system transfers immediately to the client with no PPA required. In this model, the client may request an add-on servicing and maintenance contract for purchase system which Arefa Isago Group can provide.

Arefa Isago Group funded model

Arefa Isago Group’s capital partner handles the entire installation with NO CAPITAL requirements from the customer. In this model, the entire energy system is paid for by Arefa Isago Group’s investor and the customer does not have to pay for the design, construction and installation of the system. In this model, responsibility for maintenance, repairs and operation throughout the entire term of the power purchase agreement (PPA) lies with the capital partner of Arefa Isago Group. Arefa Isago Capital Partner also assumes liability for the restoration and replacement of defective or defective equipment. At the end of the PPA, the installed system becomes the property of the customer.

Customised funding model

Bespoke solar financing includes a range of tailor-made financial solutions to meet the specific needs of individuals, businesses or organizations looking to adopt solar energy systems. These solutions may include flexible credit structures, the use of tax incentives and credits, the bundling of services such as maintenance, and alignment with economic and environmental goals. This approach allows customers to access solar energy while considering their individual financial circumstances and sustainability goals, ultimately supporting the transition to cleaner and more sustainable energy sources.

Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)

A Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is a contractual arrangement between an electricity producer and a consumer, defining the terms for purchasing electrical energy. It outlines the duration, pricing, quantity, performance guarantees, payment structure, grid connection, and conditions for default or termination. PPAs are essential in renewable energy projects, ensuring revenue stability and fostering the growth of clean energy.
